Boost your future in nanotechnology! Applications are now open for Cátedra SAMCA de Nanotecnología scholarships for the NanoMat Master’s programme (2026–2027 academic year)

¡Impulsa tu futuro en la nanotecnología! Abierta la convocatoria de becas de la Cátedra SAMCA para el Máster NanoMat (curso 2026-2027)

The future of science and industry is being shaped at the nanometric scale. If your goal is to lead the next technological revolution, the Cátedra SAMCA de Nanotecnología at the University of Zaragoza wants to make it easier for you.

We are pleased to announce the opening of a new call for scholarships aimed at students of the Master’s Degree in Nanostructured Materials for Nanotechnology Applications (NANOMAT)  for the 2026–2027 academic year.

🎯 WHAT DO THESE SCHOLARSHIPS OFFER?

In this edition, the SAMCA Chair will award THREE (3) tuition scholarships.

What do they cover? The full amount of the tuition fees corresponding to the public prices set for Spanish students, residents or citizens of the European Union (EU).

 

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY

To be eligible for one of the three scholarships, you must meet the following profile:

Be a student in a position to enrol in all the credits of the NANOMAT Master’s Degree for the 2026–2027 academic year.

 

📩 HOW TO APPLY FOR YOUR SCHOLARSHIP? STEP BY STEP

We have simplified the process so that you can submit your application quickly. You must prepare a single PDF file containing the following documents:

  • Detailed academic transcript.
  • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Motivation letter written in English
    (remember that the Master’s has an international focus).

 

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:

Who should you send it to? You must send the email to the following two addresses simultaneously:

  • José Ángel Pardo: jpardo@unizar.es
  • Institutional email of the Chair: catedrasamcanano@unizar.es

Email subject (very important): The subject of the email must be exactly: BECAS SAMCA MÁSTER NANOMAT 2026-27.

 

🗓️ PROCESS TIMELINE: DON’T LEAVE IT TO THE LAST MINUTE!

Time flies, especially in the laboratory. Make sure you save these dates in your calendar:

  • 25/09/2026 – 14:00:
    Deadline for receipt of applications
  • 05/10/2026:
    Scholarship decision
