The Unidad de Transferencia de Tecnología (UTT) aims to bring the scientific and technical achievements developed by INMA’s research groups closer to the business sector, helping it to be more competitive and innovative.

To achieve this objective, the results of research at the Institute and its possible application to the industrial world are identified and analysed based on continuous contact with the business sector to detect its needs.

The UTT helps researchers to protect the results obtained and, at the same time, promotes the technologies through a technological offer. The best way to exploit the developed technology is analysed, either through an exploitation licence or the creation of a new Technology-Based Company.

In addition, we collaborate with the entrepreneur to seek public funding for R&D&I projects at local, national and international levels.

In recent years, technologies linked to the different areas of research have been transferred, demonstrating INMA’s capacity/potential to reach and satisfy business needs.
