Take part in the new edition of the INMAGINA Award, organised by the SAMCA Chair of Nanotechnology and Campus Iberus (disruptive ideas in nanotechnology from young researchers at Campus Iberus)
The SAMCA Chair of Nanotechnology at the University of Zaragoza supports and promotes research projects in various technological fields within the area of nanotechnology. The INMAGINA Award aims to recognise and encourage research into new ideas that seek to address challenges in different fields: energy, environment, polymers, communications, and health. This call is intended to strengthen or stimulate high‑quality projects in new lines of research, development, and innovation within Campus Iberus. The award seeks to boost the careers of young researchers, who often face difficulties in securing funding and putting their ideas into practice. The idea must be original and may be linked to the project or projects currently being carried out by the researcher within their research activity.
The Award will consist of one thousand euros (€1,000) and a commemorative gift. Additionally, the winning project will receive a €20,000 grant to support the development of the idea over a period of one year.
Competition rules available at: https://catedrasamcananotec.unizar.es/inmagina/
Applications must be submitted via the form available on the Chair’s website between 22 April and 22 May 2026.
The Jury will issue its final decision on 4 June 2026, coinciding with the 7th Nanotechnology Gala organised by the SAMCA Chair of Nanotechnology, where the award will be presented.
