Ignacio Gimeno, INMA researcher, wins the prize for the best poster at the ICE workshop – Quantum Information in Spain
This is an award sponsored by @Entropy_MDPI.
The researcher at the Institute of Nanoscience and Materials of Aragon, INMA (CSIC-UNIZAR), Ignacio Gimeno, has won the award for best poster at the ICE workshop – Quantum Information in Spain (https://www.ice-6.hbar.es/). The prize has an endowment of 270 euros.
Ignacio Gimeno, performs his doctoral thesis at the INMA, where he focuses his work on the development of quantum circuits based on artificial magnetic molecules, trying to couple single photons to small groups of spins and individual magnetic nanostructures. The thesis is directed by Fernando Luis Vitalla, and during its development he collaborates with different members of the Q-MAD group, the CAB (Centre for Astrobiology), the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona, and the University of Vienna.
The ICE (Quantum Information in Spain) Workshop is a series of conferences that offers a discussion meeting for researchers working in quantum information science and technology in Spain, and is open to any researcher working in this field. The meeting, which on this occasion, due to the situation generated by COVID-19 has taken place in online mode, will be held between 10 and 14 May 2021.
