The Mass Spectrometry Service obtains the approval of its Quality Commitment Charter
The Mass Spectrometry Service has just obtained the approval, by the Agencia Estatal Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, de su Carta de Compromiso de Calidad (CCC), Quality Commitment Charter. These charters are oriented towards the adoption of commitments to excellence in the provision of the services offered, seeking the efficiency of its resources and the satisfaction of its customers.
The equipment available to the Mass Spectrometry Service allows information to be obtained on the molecular mass of the compound analysed, as well as structural information. The service offers a set of techniques that allow qualitative and quantitative analysis of pure substances and complex mixtures with applications in the characterisation of organic and organometallic compounds, analysis of natural products, polymers and dendrimers, metabolomics, characterisation of pharmaceuticals and drugs, identification of impurities and organic pollutants, environmental analysis and qualitative and quantitative analysis of substances and complex mixtures.
The Mass Spectrometry Service is part of the Scientific and Technical Services Unit of the Instituto de Nanociencia y Materiales de Aragón (INMA) and the Instituto de Síntesis Química y Catálisis Homogénea (ISQCH), both joint centres of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and the University of Zaragoza. This Scientific and Technical Services Unit has a total of seven services, equipped with the most advanced scientific instrumentation, analysis, measurement and testing equipment, and whose mission is to provide advice and service to public and private organisations that request it.
