María Tamayo and Marta Hernaz, winners of the Santander Awards for Digital Competences in Final Year Projects at the University of Zaragoza in the category TFG Science
The Joint Monitoring Committee of the Banco Santander Chair has awarded the third edition of the Santander Awards for Digital Competences in Final Projects at the University of Zaragoza, corresponding to the year 2023.
The awards ceremony for all categories was held as part of the Santander in the Paraninfo Cycle on Friday 28th June at 1pm, in the Aula Magna of the Paraninfo Building.
The winners in the TFG science category were:
First prize: María Tamayo Fraile. Title of the work: “Development of new nanostructured platinum-based catalysts effective in the tumour environment”.
Director: José Luis Hueso Martos
Second prize: Marta Hernaz Sánchez. Title of the work: “Quantitative determination of iron oxide nanoparticles in Hydra vulgaris using magnetic measurements”.
Director: Lucía Gutiérrez Marruedo
