Advances and applications in carbon related nanomaterials: From pure to doped structures including heteroatom layers 2023
From 9 to 13 January, the Centro Pedro Pascual de Benasque will be hosting the fifth edition of the conference “HeteroNanoCarb: Advances and Applications in Carbon Related Nanomaterials: From Pure to Doping including Heteroatom Layers” (http://heteronanocarb.org/). Around 60 researchers from around 20 countries will participate. Of these researchers, around 20 are among the world leaders in this area of research. The conference will present the most significant recent advances that have been made on carbon-based nano-materials (nanotubes, graphene, nano-diamonds, fullerenes, nano-porous, nano-ribbons…), pure, doped or even on nearby inorganic nano-materials, such as boron nitride, WS2, MoS2…. These advances do not only concern fundamental science studies, but also results within their applications have been presented.
This series of conferences has been promoted and organised by Dr. Raúl Arenal (ARAID researcher at the Instituto de Nanociencia y Materiales de Aragón (INMA), CSIC-University of Zaragoza and at the Laboratorio de Microscopias Avanzadas (LMA), University of Zaragoza) with the participation as co-organisers of Drs: C. P. Ewels (CNRS – U. Nantes, France), D. Golberg (Queensland University of Technology, Australia), V. Meunier (Penn State University, USA) and A. Rubio (MPSD Max Planck, Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter, Hamburg, Germany and U. País Vasco, Spain).
