This year, the  Cátedra SAMCA de Nanotecnología is launching the INMAGINA Award extended to the Iberus Campus (disruptive ideas in nanotechnology by young researchers at Campus Iberus)
The  Cátedra SAMCA de Nanotecnología of the University of Zaragoza supports and encourages research projects in different technological lines in the field of nanotechnology. The INMAGINA award aims to recognise and promote research into new ideas that seek to solve challenges in different fields: energy, environment, polymers, communications and health. This call aims to promote or stimulate quality projects in new lines of research, development and innovation in the field of Campus Iberus. The award aims to promote the careers of young researchers, who often find it difficult to find funding and put their ideas into practice. The idea must be novel and may be linked to the project or projects being carried out by the researcher in the field of his or her research activity.
The prize will consist of one thousand euros (€1,000) and a commemorative gift. In addition, the winning project will receive a €20,000 grant to support the development of the idea for a period of 1 year.
Competition rules at: https://catedrasamcananotec.unizar.es/inmagina/,
Candidatures and applications must be submitted via the form on the Chair’s website between 16 May and 16 June 2025. Only applications received within the established deadline will be accepted.
Application form:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScQAHtP095VD53Wfkkf71U_qoCLUALDGiP0ZR73bcGb-CxCNg/viewform?usp=sharing.
The Jury will issue the final decision on 27 June 2025, coinciding with the 6th Nanotechnology Gala, organised by the SAMCA Chair of Nanotechnology, where the prize will be awarded.
