The Chromatography and Spectroscopy Service is a multidisciplinary unit that has complete chromatographic equipment, both for volatile samples (GC gas chromatography) and non-volatile samples (HPLC liquid chromatography) as well as UV/Vis/NIR spectroscopy, FTIR , Raman, CD and VCD. The available equipment allows qualitative and quantitative determination of a wide variety of compounds as well as the characterization of a wide variety of substances and materials.

The Chromatography and Spectroscopy Service has complete chromatographic equipment, both for volatile samples (GC gas chromatography) and non-volatile samples (HPLC and GPC liquid chromatography), as well as UV/Vis/NIR, FTIR and spectroscopy. Raman, which allows the qualitative and quantitative determination of a wide variety of compounds, as well as the characterization of a wide variety of substances and materials.
– Separation, identification and quantification of simple substances or complex mixtures, using chromatographic techniques, for both volatile and non-volatile substances.
– GPC/GFC mass analysis without calibration with standards and structural characterization of polymers and biopolymers.
– Characterization of materials (organic, inorganic or composites), nanomaterials, biomaterials, polymers, catalysts and others by spectroscopic techniques.
– Chirality studies of substances by chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques.
Technological advisory work is also carried out.
– Academic research and research centers
– Pharmaceutical industry and chemical industry in general (polymers and biopolymers, paints, ceramics, cosmetics, aromas, petrochemicals, etc.)
– Veterinary, agrochemical and food industry, among others.
