FEnanoMENOS celebrates Nanotechnology Day at Los Porches del Audiorama
The FEnanoMENOS project begins in style its ninth edition with the celebration of Nanotechnology Day next Monday, October 9. And it will do so at the Los Porches del Audiorama Shopping Center, which will become the ideal space for nanoscience to be the protagonist from 10 am to 1 pm. A day that ensures learning and fun for all participants of Secondary Education!
Since 9 is the “nano number” par excellence, the fact that this is the 9th edition of the Nanoscience Fair for Schools takes the event to a higher level. For this reason, the program will not leave anyone indifferent, including 2 workshops and the “Nanotalent Show”, which will put the icing on the cake of a perfect morning.

The Nanotechnology Day will start at 10 am with the activity “Self-assembly of structures”, in which, through experimentation, students will be able to see how there are materials that are arranged automatically in the same way that happens with the atoms of the matter that surrounds us.
Later, at 10:45 am, the activity “What is diffraction?” will take place, in which participants will be able to discover how one of the main properties of waves works and how it affects light.
After the break, it will be the turn of “Nanotalent Show”, the TV program that will discover the best supermaterial.Graffi, Fullerene, Nanotube, Auri or Magnetic Nanoparticle: who will be the winner? These peculiar characters will take us into the world of nanoscience by telling us about their applications through surprising experiments. The best way to close a day full of science: lights, camera, action!
FENANOMENOS
FEnanoMENOS is one of the most traditional nanoscience fairs in Spain. It is organized by the Institute of Nanoscience and Materials of Aragon INMA, a joint institute of CSIC and the University of Zaragoza and has the collaboration of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) – Ministry of Science and Innovation. The objective of Fenanómenos is that different schoolchildren in Spain develop experimental research projects based on the scientific method and on a phenomenon related to nanoscience.
