Board game: Bacterfield
Would you fancy a different kind of afternoon that combines science, games and a bit of snacking?
Sign up for this training session to learn how to run science outreach activities using the board game Bacterfield, developed by Isabel Franco and Elena Atrián during their time at INMA.
During the session we will explore how to use games as a tool to communicate concepts in microbiology in a dynamic and accessible way. No previous experience is required—just a willingness to take part and have fun.
The game is designed for people aged 11 and over and requires no prior knowledge, either to play or to use it as a teaching tool. It could be described as a fusion of *Risk* and *Virus*, combining strategy with fast-paced gameplay.
**Friday 15 May**
