UNIVERSA internship

The Instituto de Nanociencia y Materiales de Aragón is a joint research institute between the University of Zaragoza and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, so a student interested in doing an internship can do it in any of the two entities.

Internship at the University of Zaragoza

Undergraduate and Master students of the University of Zaragoza can do internships at the University of Zaragoza through the UNIVERSA Service.

In order to be eligible for this internship, the University of Zaragoza student must be enrolled at the University in the current academic year and must not have applied for the degree.

– In undergraduate students, they must have passed at least 90 credits.
– Master students must be enrolled in the current academic year.

Students from other universities who wish to do internships at INMA – UNIZAR, should contact the Service of UNIVERSA of the University of Zaragoza, which will indicate the appropriate steps to carry them out.

These internships are for training purposes, not for work and can be paid or unpaid.

Internship at the Spanish National Research Council

Undergraduate and Master students of the University of Zaragoza can carry out internships at the Spanish National Research Council (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas).

Internships for undergraduate students of the University of Zaragoza at the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas are governed by Provision 1372 published in the BOE no. 26 on January 30, 2021.

The internships of Master students of the University of Zaragoza at the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas are governed by Provision 4556 published in the BOE no. 70 on March 23, 2021.

Students from other universities who wish to perform internships at INMA – CSIC, should contact the guidance and employment services of their respective universities, which will be the ones to manage the documentation indicated in the agreements signed between CSIC and the different universities for the development of academic practices.

The internships framed in these agreements will be of a training nature, not work-related and unpaid.

All internships at INMA (CSIC or UNIZAR) can be curricular or extracurricular.

– In curricular internships, the student must be enrolled in the subject in the current academic year. The duration is indicated in your syllabus.
Extracurricular internships are those that the student performs on a voluntary basis. The duration will be between 100 and 500 hours per academic year.

In order to be eligible for an internship at the Instituto de Nanociencia y Materiales de Aragón (CSIC – UNIZAR) students should contact directly the research groups or the researchers who develop scientific tasks related to their interests and they will inform them of the different possible options..
