The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Service obtains approval of its Quality Commitment Charter
The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Service has just obtained the approval of its Quality Commitment Charter (CCC) by the Spanish National Research Council (Agencia Estatal Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas). These charters are aimed at adopting commitments to excellence in the provision of the services offered, seeking the efficiency of its resources and the satisfaction of its clients.
The equipment available to the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Service allows information to be obtained on the structure and stereochemistry of organic compounds, organometallic compounds and biomolecules, allowing studies to be carried out on everything from the smallest molecules to large polymers and proteins. It also allows dynamic, kinetic and conformational studies to be carried out. It is a non-destructive analysis technique that has a wide field of application in practically all areas of chemistry and in some areas of biology.
The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Service is part of the Scientific and Technical Services Unit of the Instituto de Nanociencia y Materiales de Aragón (INMA) and the Instituto de Síntesis Química y Catálisis Homogénea (ISQCH), both joint centres of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and the University of Zaragoza. This Scientific and Technical Services Unit has a total of seven services, equipped with the most advanced scientific instrumentation, analysis, measurement and testing equipment, and whose mission is to provide advice and service to public and private organisations that request it.
