RESOLUTION TO AWARD GRANTS FOR THE “SUPPORT ACTION FOR COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS BETWEEN RESEARCHERS OF THE IIS ARAGON AND THE INSTITUTE OF NANOSCIENCE AND MATERIALS (INMA) RELATED TO COVID-19”
IIS Aragon, thanks to the grant received from the INA Foundation, launched on 28 April 2021 the “Support action for collaborative projects between researchers from IIS Aragon and the Institute of Nanoscience and Materials of Aragon, INMA, a joint centre between CSIC and the University of Zaragoza, related to Covid-19”.
After analysing the applications submitted for this support action, it is resolved to award the following projects:
– “Real Time Monitoring of SARS-CoV-2 and adenoviruses in Indoor Environments by labelfree and handheld SERS Detection with microfluidic devices (ViruSERS)”, whose principal investigator is María del Pilar Martín Duque, from the GIIS033 group “Grupo de Investigación en Terapias Avanzadas”. Funding awarded: €20,000.
– Development of a coating based on silver nanoparticles as a virucidal functionalisation for different surfaces”, whose principal investigator is Marta Baselga Lahoz, from the GIIS002 group “Surgical, clinical and experimental research group”. Funding granted: €20,000.
