Workshop: Nanostructured Materials for Membrane Applications
Join us on 14th May 2026 for an exclusive meeting on membrane technology innovation. The event will be held in the AULA of the R&D&I Building (Edificio I+D+i) and will bring together leading experts to discuss the future of membrane engineering for sustainable development.
Programme highlights:
- 3D Printing: Davide Mattia (University of Bath) will analyse the opportunities, limits and challenges of membrane fabrication using 3D printing.
- Real-time characterisation: Thomas Schäfer (POLYMAT) will present advanced techniques for the in-situcharacterisation of membrane interactions.
- Molecular separation: Joaquín Coronas (University of Zaragoza) will explore how nanostructured materials are the way to enhance molecular separations with membranes.
Event details:
- Date: 14th May 2026.
- Venue: AULA, R&D&I Building (Edificio I+D+i).
- Schedule: 09:30 to 12:30 (including a coffee break).
This workshop is supported by Membranet, the Institute of Nanoscience and Materials of Aragon (INMA), and the Master in Membrane Engineering for Sustainable Development (MESD). The event is funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (State Research Agency) and the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme.
We look forward to seeing you there to explore the latest frontiers of nanoscience!
