Women, science and videogames united in the Hi Score Science competition – science for women
With the aim of making visible, inspiring and promoting the participation of women and girls in science, an event has been created for families with the video game Hi Score Science, which will allow participants not only to learn and demonstrate their knowledge in science, but also to discover the science developed by our female scientists and what is even better, to have their names appear in a video game published with more than 50,000 downloads. The activity will take place next Saturday 11 February from 11am to 1pm at ETOPIA.
The event will be complemented by an exhibition aimed at women scientists and an on-line competition at two levels, primary and secondary education, at national and regional level (Aragon). A prize will be awarded for the best question on women and science submitted by 5 February and on 10 February there will be an on-line Hi Score Science tournament for primary school from 11:00 to 11:30 and another for secondary school from 12:30 to 13:00. Registration at blatre@unizar.es.
