Roundtable 11F – INMA researchers

The Aragon Nanoscience and Materials Institute (INMA), a joint institute of the University of Zaragoza and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), in its outreach and promotion of scientific culture in favor of equality, participates once again in the celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science with the main objective of making visible, inspire and promote the participation of women and girls in science. On this occasion, the program of activities will take place largely in the “Ámbito Cultural”, the area of El Corte Inglés in Zaragoza that aims to bring the best of the cultural scene to the public.

On Wednesday, February 8, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, will be held in the hall of the Cultural Area of El Corte Inglés de Zaragoza a round table with the participation of different INMA researchers who will talk about the different research they do, making visible their work in science and promoting scientific vocations in young women. Participate Maria Angeles Laguna, CSIC scientist; Sara Lafuerza Bielsa, PhD in physics and postdoctoral researcher Marie Curie; and Maria Cristina Momblona, PhD in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and postdoctoral researcher Juan de la Cierva.

The winners of the last edition of the educational project “FEnanoMENOS”, belonging to the IES Clara Campoamor, in which nanoscience and nanotechnology projects are developed, will also contribute to this round table.
