Researchers’ Night – 29 September 2023
This Friday, 29 September 2023, will take place a new edition of the Night of Researchers, in which the INMA actively participates. The event will have two organizers EsCiencia that will focus the events at Caixa Forum and the University of Zaragoza that will centralize them in the Paraninfo building of the University of Zaragoza.
The evening, among other activities, will include workshops, stands, talks, etc.

RESEARCH FAIR (MEZZANINE TERRACE)
Timetable: 17-22h. More information on the CaixaForum Zaragoza website.
Experience first-hand the researchers of your city and their research work. Activities and live demonstrations showing the scientific research being carried out in different research centres and universities in your area, through experiences carried out by the people involved, not to be missed!
WORKSHOPS
Get closer to research by becoming a protagonist. The workshop is a means of popularising science and technology that will seek to leave behind the one-way transmission of information in order to build experiences and knowledge relevant to the participants. Its dynamic is based on a collective creation in which the public actively participates, becoming the protagonists of the dissemination activities. The ultimate aim of the workshop is to transform theoretical knowledge into a practical experience in order to foster the educational process and ignite the vocations of the protagonists. In the activities aimed at children, an adult must be present.
Educational Space. There will be 1 show at 17:30h with prior registration on the CaixaForum Zaragoza website (limited capacity).
“NanoEye. Immersion in nanoscience for early years education” –> Nicolás Gracia, Marina García and Zsuzsa Baranyai, from the Instituto de Nanociencia y Materiales de Aragón (INMA). This is a project funded by the Erasmus+ programme within the call “Partnerships for Cooperation in School Education” and is coordinated by ESCIENCIA (Spain) and presented in collaboration with Castello di Padernello Foundation (Italy), The Festival of Curiosity (Ireland), INMA (Spain) and The International School of Dublin (Ireland). The aim is to provide early childhood education teachers with tools to introduce children to nanoscience through puppet shows and classroom resources.

Workshop on the project “NanoAsalto Evolution” –> Susel del Sol, Nicolás García, María Alleva and Yilian Fernández, from the Instituto de Nanociencia y Materiales de Aragón (INMA).
CHESS GAMES (HALL FLOOR 2) 18-20h
Simultaneous chess games will be played throughout the afternoon by Luis Martín Moreno (from INMA).

Talk with researchers from the campaign “I am a scientist. I live in your neighbourhood” campaign to find out about their vocation and research, while you enjoy the coffee that will be offered to the attendees.
Place: Paraninfo Dining Room, ground floor, next to the cafeteria.
