IUIs-UNIZAR Conference: SDG 13: Climate Action
The Instituto de Nanociencia y Materiales de Aragón (INMA), a joint institute of the CSIC and the University of Zaragoza, is organising a new conference within the “IUIs-UNIZAR” conference cycle. The theme selected for this session will be the Sustainable Development Goal “Climate Action”, SDG 13.
The event will take place next Tuesday 14th June in the Conference Room of the Faculty of Education of the San Francisco Campus from 9 am to 1.15 pm.
The meeting has two main objectives: to disseminate and exchange knowledge generated in the research of the various institutes in the field of “Climate Action” and to generate new multidisciplinary collaborations between different research groups with different experience and capabilities.
The conference consists of a first space for PRESENTATION in which each institute will make a 10-minute presentation. In a second space, an ELEVATOR PITCH dynamic has been designed where several participants from the different institutes will be able to present their research work in a maximum time of 3 minutes. Three prizes will be awarded to the pitch that gets more “likes” on the YouTube channel of INMA @INMAdivulga.
Between the two there will be a networking moment: MATCHMAKING SPACE -Café. It is a meeting space between the institutes to work on the needs and proposals raised, looking for synergies of joint work. There will be the possibility to participate in two round tables:
Table 1 Sustainable energy and “green” vehicles.
Table 2 Models and predictions on climate change.
