International LGBTQIA+ People in STEM Day: talk, discussion and networking coffee morning

Have you ever made a comment about someone’s sexual orientation or gender identity and later wondered whether it might have made them feel uncomfortable? Or have you experienced a situation where a comment or attitude related to sexual orientation or gender identity made you, or someone around you, feel uneasy or offended, and you were unsure how to respond?

Creating a https://www.redi-lgbti.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Diversity-at-Work_2026.pdf is the responsibility of everyone who is part of the INMA community. For this reason, the Equality Committee would like to take advantage of the upcoming https://prideinstem.org/lgbtstemday/, on Wednesday, 18 November, to open a space for learning and discussion on affective, sexual and gender diversity.

We are pleased to invite you to a training session on affective and sexual diversity delivered by the University Office for Diversity Support (OUAD) of the University of Zaragoza.

Afterwards, we would like to continue the conversation over coffee, providing an opportunity to discuss the topic further, get to know one another better, and encourage you to share any questions, ideas, activities or concerns with the INMA Equality Committee.

The training session will be conducted in Spanish for logistical reasons. As mentioned above, from 11:00 a.m. onwards, all INMA staff are invited to join us for coffee and conversation, including those who may not have been able to attend the session because of the language barrier.
