“Chateando con la Ciencia”, organised by the Real Zaragoza Tennis Club with the collaboration of the Aragon Nanoscience and Materials Institute, INMA, a joint institute of the CSIC and the University of Zaragoza, will take place with the lecture by Iraide Ibarretxe-Antuñano (PhD, University of Edinburgh) who will give a talk entitled: Human language: mechanism of expression, of thought and of power?
Summary of the talk:
Language is one of the most important characteristics of human beings. From the moment we are born, it allows us to communicate with other people and with ourselves, but, above all, it allows us to think, live and interact with our environment in a certain way. Therefore, language is a powerful tool of power and knowing how to use it properly becomes an essential skill for any person. In this talk, we will explore what language is and why those who know language know (and can persuade) humanity.
