7th Nanotechnology Gala

The SAMCA Chair of Nanotechnology at the University of Zaragoza will hold its 7th Nanotechnology Gala on June 4, 2026 , a well-established event that brings together science, innovation, outreach and entertainment in a day open to all audiences.

The Gala will take place at CaixaForum Zaragoza , from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. , and will once again become a space where nanotechnology leaves the laboratory to be shown in a close, dynamic and different way.

The event will feature Elena Pinilla Cienfuegos , a physicist, researcher, and science communicator specializing in photonics and nanomaterials, who will give a lecture on some of the latest advances in this field.

In addition, the evening will once again feature the scientific comedy group RISArchers , who will bring humor and scientific outreach to the stage with their unique style.

During the Gala, various awards promoted by the SAMCA Chair of Nanotechnology will be presented, including the award for the best doctoral thesis of the Iberus Campus, the INMAGINA 2026 Award and the Materializa: REAL Award, aimed at projects with potential for transfer and application.
