The academic community is cordially invited to the doctoral thesis defence of Panagiotis Koutsogiannis, entitled “Analysis of polar distortions in epitaxial oxide thin films by scanning transmission electron microscopy“.

The thesis has been supervised by Dr César Magén Domínguez and Dr José Ángel Pardo Gracia. The examining board will consist of Dr José Manuel Santiso López (ICN2), Dr Sara Lafuerza Bielsa (INMA), and Dr Gabriel Sánchez-Santolino (UCM).
This work is part of the research activities of the Institute of Nanoscience and Materials of Aragon (INMA) and is supported by institutions including the CSIC, the University of Zaragoza, and the European Union’s Marie Curie programme.
