Congress “Quantum nanophotonics 2023”; Benasque, from 12 to 18 March 2023
From 12 to 18 March 2023, the conference “Quantum nanophotonics 2023” will take place in Benasque (Huesca). The aim of the conference is to explore the frontiers between the fields of quantum optics and subwavelength optics. The conference will take place at the Pedro Pascual Benasque Science Centre in Benasque (Huesca).
The scientific programme will include invited talks and selected contributions focusing on strong coupling, lasers, QED waveguides, quantum effects in nanogaps and quantum metamaterials. These include: J. Aizpurua, M. Atature, A. Bouhelier, S. Berciaud, M. V. Chekhova, A. Chernikov, J. Feist, M. Frimmer, S. Gasparinetti, C. Gonzalez-Ballestero, A. Gonzalez-Tudela, Y. Kan, I. Kaminer, A. Kubanek, P. Lodahl, M. Loncar, D. Norris, T. Northup, V. Sandoghdar, A. Rauschenbeutel, C. Ropers, A. Reiserer, G. Scalari, P. Torma.
The aim of this conference is to facilitate interaction between researchers from all over the world working in this field. To this end, the lectures will be held in the afternoons, leaving the mornings free for participants to socialise while enjoying the mountains and the excellent working environment offered by the Benasque Science Centre (see http://benasque.org for information on the centre’s facilities).
The conference is co-organised by Luis Martín Moreno, researcher at the Instituto de Nanociencia y Materiales de Aragón, INMA, (CSIC-UNIZAR), Sergey I. Bozhevolnyi (U. of Southern Denmark), Francisco J. Garcia-Vidal (U. Autonoma de Madrid) and Lukas Novotny (ETH Zurich).
