Manuel obtained his Bachelor Degree from the University of Oviedo, as well as his Masters Degree in Advanced Physics. He also obtained a Masters Degree in Quantum Computation Technologies from the Polytechnical University of Madrid.

In his PhD thesis, he is interested in applying machine learning techniques to problems of Quantum theory, especially those regarding quantum many-body systems.
