DESCRIPTION:The MECANOS Group of the Aragon Nanoscience and Materials Institute (INMA, CSIC–University of Zaragoza) is part of the MSCA PHOTOBRANE network, which will hold its second meeting in Zaragoza from 28 September to 1 October 2026. As part of this event, four open-access lectures have been scheduled on 28 and 29 September in the conference room of the R&D&i Building on the University of Zaragoza’s Río Ebro Campus.\nEuropean project Photo-switchable ultra-thin membranes for molecular separation (PhotoBrane), HORIZON.1.2 – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), Grant Agreement No. 101168776.\nOpen Lecture Programme\nMonday, 28 September\n9:00–10:00 | Martin Presselt\nIntroduction and programmable photonic interfaces\nTuesday, 29 September\n9:00–10:00 | Agnes Schulze & Benjamin Dietzek-Ivanšić\nPhotoactive membranes at IOM: preparation, mechanistic and functional characterisation\n10:30–11:30 | Donatella Armentano\nPorous frameworks at the technological frontier: integrating bio-MOFs, catalysis, buckypaper and 3D printing\n11:30–12:30 | Patricia Gorgojo\nLiquid-phase separations with membranes\nThe sessions provide an opportunity to learn about different research lines related to photonic interfaces, photoactive membranes, porous materials and membrane-based separation technologies, presented by specialists participating in the network.\nAttendance at all four lectures is free, subject to venue capacity.\n📍 Venue: Conference Room, R&D&i Building, First Floor.
