SUMMARY:Presentation of the Third White Paper on Nanotechnologies: Building a Sustainable Future
DESCRIPTION:On the upcoming 26 May, from 10:30 onwards, the Book of Nanotechnologies III: Building a Sustainable Tomorrow will be presented in Aragon. This volume brings together the most relevant advances and current perspectives in this key field for scientific and technological development. This third edition is essential for understanding how nanotechnology is transforming the way we address society’s challenges in crucial areas such as energy, water, the environment, agri-food systems and medicine, and it also includes a focus on ICT for sustainable development.\nThe event, organised by the Sustainable Nano Network (SNSSN) in collaboration with INMA (CSIC–UNIZAR), is aimed at students wishing to orient their careers towards nanotechnologies, as well as predoctoral and postdoctoral researchers, companies seeking solutions in these fields, and members of society who are aware of the importance of this branch of science.\nDuring the event, the Aragonese scientists who have contributed to this third edition, and who are part of the Aragon Nanoscience and Materials Institute (INMA), will address the main research lines, practical applications and future challenges of nanotechnology through two round tables. Afterwards, a coffee will be served for attendees.
