By uniting medicine, environmental science, and efficient energy systems through nanotechnology and bioinspired approaches, the talk will explore the interconnectedness of these fields.\nKey topics to be addressed include:\n\nThe prediction of zoonotic diseases.\nThe analysis of pollution drivers.\nThe development of sustainable infrastructure, including technologies such as smart windows, to reduce ecological impact and address planetary health challenges.\n\nAbout the speaker: Daniel Ruiz-Molina is a Full Professor at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and Editor of the journal Biomimetics. Following a PhD at ICMAB-CSIC and a postdoc at UC San Diego, he has led the Nanostructured Functional Materials Group (NanosFun) at ICN2 since 2006.
