Thanks to quantum physics, today we have lasers, GPS, microchips, LED lights, magnetic resonance imaging, radiotherapy, magnetic data storage, magnetic biosensors, etc. In an informative way, he will delve into the quantum phenomena that enable all these applications and make our lives more comfortable.\nJosé Mª de Teresa is a CSIC Research Professor at the Aragon Nanoscience and Materials Institute (INMA), a joint CSIC-UNIZAR institute, where he heads the Nanomidas group and coordinates the Spanish Nanolithography Network and the Nanofabrication Area.
